In general, DePaul University offers students two types of study abroad options:
  • Term-long programs, where you will go abroad for one quarter or longer.
  • Short-term programs of typically 1-3 weeks that travel over the breaks (December, spring break, and summer), led by DePaul faculty
Here is a step-by-step guide to learn more and find the program that is the best fit for you:

STEP 1 – Attend a Study Abroad 101 session

Study Abroad 101 sessions will guide you through the basics of study abroad at DePaul and discuss topics such as selecting, applying, and financing your program. These quick, 30-minute sessions are offered every day. Here is the current Study Abroad 101 schedule:

STEP 2 – Research program options

After attending Study Abroad 101, identify your goals and research programs and options on the Study Abroad Program website.

If you are ready to apply for a program, skip to Step 4. If you have additional questions about a particular program or set of programs, meet with the appropriate program contact listed below.
